Here's a little history about how my business was started -
I created my first batch of magnets in the form of birth announcements
when my son was born 7 years ago and again the following year for his
first birthday. On both
occasions, the magnets were a huge hit with everyone. Being that I
enjoyed creating them so much, and that I felt that I had a unique,
quality product to offer, my business, Lasting Impressions by Laura, was born.
The idea for my adding save the dates to my category
line was originated when a dear friend of mine asked
that I create a custom save the date design for her
upcoming wedding. I did extensive research about
the save the date industry and felt as though it would
be a perfect fit for my magnets.
Since then I've worked with countless brides and have
created thousand's of save the dates. I'm thrilled
to be able to offer the quality product I do in my
unique designs to brides (and grooms) to be.
My
business is home-based and we're located in the town of Lindenhurst, New
York. I feel that being a small business is to my customer's
advantage. They don't have to deal with anyone else during the
order process, except the owner, and I happen to be a graphic artist.
Also, being that I'm based online, my customers span from coast to
coast!
In
addition to creating my designs (we don't purchase them, they're our
own), and doing the hands-on work with my products, I create and
maintain my websites.
I try my
best to provide a pleasant and stress-free experience to my customers
during the order process. I happen to be somewhat of a
perfectionist and my biggest critic - and that shows in my work.
I
recently considered having my magnets machine processed and cut, as the
task of creating them by hand became overwhelming. When I saw the
quality product that I would offer in it's place, I made the decision to
continue creating them the way I do. I don't ever want to
sacrifice quality and would only sell my customers what I would be proud
to offer myself.

products and I hope to be doing business with you!
